Brown Mountain ATV Trails - Morganton, North Carolina
This riding area is the only off-highway vehicle (OHV) area in the Pisgah National Forest. Enjoy stunning sights while cruising around on your four-wheeler. There are 34 miles of trails to explore, giving you plenty of options to enjoy. The trails range from intermediate to difficult, so this riding area is best left to more experienced quad riders. The riding site is open from March 29 to January 1, as well as for 24 hours each day.
Wayehutta OHV Trail System - Cullowhee, North Carolina
Enjoy the Nantahala National Forest when you cruise around this 28-mile series of trails. The riding area offers plenty of loops, bridge crossings, and even a waterfall. Some of the routes are easy and well-suited for beginner riders. Other routes are rated difficult and offer unique challenges due to the rocky terrain.
This ATV trail system is open between April 1 and December 15, but always check the website first. The area is prone to landslides that could cause a temporary closure of riding trails.
Busco Beach ATV Park - Goldsboro, North Carolina
If you are looking for an adrenaline-fueled riding experience, then this recreational riding facility is your dream come true. It's open 24/7 and every day of the year. Enjoy mud pits, mud holes, mud races, ATV ponds, ATV repair services, and 2000 acres of riding trails.
There are also other amenities to make your trip even better, including lakes for swimming and fishing, live bands and DJs, a snack shop, and more.
There are so many activities to take in that you'll probably want to spend several days here. Reserve your spot for tent camping or RV camping (the sites include hookups). Spend all day riding, sleep on site, then repeat the next day!
